Saving Faith According to God's Word.

The Bible is a consistent record of eye witness accounts to Gods working with mankind spanning over 6,000 years. According to the Bible, Repentance and Belief on Christ (His Works and Righteousness) is needed for Salvation from Hell and entrance into Heaven. (Christ is Greek word for “messiah” which is the Hebrew word for “anointed by God”).

Repent basically means “to turn and forsake”. Most people trust in their own works or goodness to get them into Heaven. The bible’s message to people is to turn by forsaking your own abilities and to trusting in God’s way to Heaven. To get to Heaven we repent to God and believe on the works of His Son Jesus Christ by “Calling on the name of the LORD”. We call out to God and tell Him that we will follow His ways only.

The monument we call out to God and commit ourselves to Him alone He will send us his Holy Spirit to us. When the Holy Spirit enters us it will quicken (make alive) our spirit and make us God’s Child. God’s Children cannot God to Hell and will go to Heaven no matter what they do. If they sin later God will chastise them until they repent of the sin but they will no never again be in danger of Hell. It is the job of every Christian to follow God’s Word in the way Jesus Christ showed us. The closer we follow God’s Word the more he sanctifies us and makes us holy.

Men’s spirits are dead in sin and their soul are bound for hell:
Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
James 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
Romans 3:23 for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 6:23a For the wages of sin is death;
Romans 10:3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
Revelation 20:14-15 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

God paid the penalty for sin and death and quickened our Spirits through Jesus Christ:
1 Corinthians 15:44-49 There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. 46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. 47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. 48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. 49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
1 John 4:9-11 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Colossians 1:19-21 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; 20 and, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. 21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled 22 in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
Colossians 2:13-15 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14 blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15 and having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
To take part of this salvation payment and quickening ourselves we need to repent of our old life (our righteousness and works, etc) and accept the life of Christ by calling on him for it:
Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
Acts 20:21 testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 3:21-26 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 to declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
Romans 10:6-13 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise….. 8 The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Genesis 4:26c ...then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.
Psalm 116:13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.
When you call on the name of the Lord you are making a covenant with Him to be adopted by His Spirit:
Psalms 89:26-34 He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation. 27 Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth. 28 My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him. 29 His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven. 30 If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments; 31 if they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments; 32 then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes. 33 Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail. 34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
Romans 8:14-17 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
